Rooted in Harmony is a consulting practice that helps schools create restorative, inclusive communities where every student feels a deep sense of belonging. We believe that when relationships are at the heart of school culture, students and educators are more connected, engaged, and empowered to grow.

What we offer

  • Partner with school leaders to assess current school culture, identify strengths and growth areas, and co-create a vision for a restorative, relationship-centered learning environment. This work may include staff surveys, behavior data analysis, system reviews, and classroom walkthroughs.

  • Facilitate engaging, interactive professional learning sessions tailored to grade level, team, or role. Topics may include restorative language, classroom community-building, Responsive Classroom practices, behavior norms, and collaborative problem-solving strategies.

  • Join teachers in the classroom to model, co-teach, or observe practices rooted in Responsive Classroom and restorative frameworks. Coaching is responsive to individual teacher goals and includes pre-brief, debrief, and planning conversations to support implementation and reflection. Strategies may include Morning Meeting, community circles, restorative conversations, interactive modeling to set and reinforce behavior expectations, responsive language, and partnering with students to repair harm and rebuild trust.

  • Design flexible, responsive services tailored to the unique goals of each school community. Collaborate with leaders and educators to build capacity, strengthen relationships, and foster a strong sense of belonging, whether through targeted support for a small group or a comprehensive school wide initiative.
